Frank reborn as ‘virtual’ agency

A MARKETING firm that closed down earlier this year has relaunched as a “virtual” agency.

Wilmslow-based Frank the Agency was forced to close in February after suffering a downturn in business. The firm was founded in 2000 and carried out work for a range of clients including Beaverbrooks the Jeweller and Madame Tussauds.

Richard Forman, a former owner of Frank, left the business in October 2009 but has now pulled together around seven of Frank’s 11 former staff to work under the Frank Consultancy banner.

They are all self-employed and will work from home as a collective said Mr Forman. He said: “There are no big agency overheads, you only pay for services that you use and of course that’s the key. We can match or indeed beat any agency out there by producing great and considered work, but we are much more competitive financially.

“We run from a much lower cost base and that’s why, in these tough times, we have picked up considerable new business with highly affordable solutions.”
