Web firm opens virtual office

A CUMBRIAN web development company has made the first steps towards expansion into Manchester, by opening a virtual office in the city.

Changing Horizon, which is based near Kendal, has signed a virtual office agreement with Manchester Science Park to give it a city centre address.

Managing director Ben Muschamp said that most people visiting the company’s website are from the Manchester area, and he hopes that a city centre address will increase enquiry numbers.

He said: “We have a lot of clients in Manchester and eventually we will have a permanent office there but until then a virtual office provides us with an important and cost effective contact point in the city.

“As well as providing us with a physical base where we can meet our clients and other business contacts face to face, we are hoping a city address will prove advantageous in attracting more clients from the Manchester area.”
