DLA goes Christmas shopping

THE COMMERCIAL property team from DLA Piper’s Liverpool office has advised on the £82m sale of the Dolphin Shopping Centre in Poole.
The centre was sold by Grosvenor, the property giant behind the Liverpool One scheme. The 530,000 sq ft centre was built in 1969 but refurbished by Groscvenor in 2004. It has been sold to Dutch real estate investment company Wereldhave.
DLA Piper acted for Weraldhave.
Mark Beardwood, partner at DLA Piper in Liverpool, said: “This is a significant deal for Wereldhave in relation to their investment strategy. Wereldhave is one of a number of blue chip investment clients we advise and we particularly enjoyed working with them on this strategic acquisition, topping off another busy year in the investment property market.”
