IFA continues expansion with Lytham office

A FIRM of independent financial advisors has expanded with the launch of an office in Lytham, Lancashire.

Ludlow, run by managing director Sid Ludlow and directors Ian Hemingway and David Hardman, has a team of six at the office and plans to double staff numbers.

The Southport-based business, which was founded in 1993 and employs 27 people, already has offices in Longridge, near Preston, and Blackburn.

The business provides a range of services including financial planning, advice on investments, pensions and retirement. It also has a mortgage service.

It has grown significantly in the past couple of years through a number of acquisitions and mergers and now manages funds worth around £230m.

Mr Ludlow said: “We have had a large number of clients in the area for some time and opening a flagship office in the town allows us to provide the local, personal and professional service upon which we pride ourselves.

“In addition to growing our client base in Fylde, we will also be actively looking to increase the number of strong working relationships we have with other professional advisors such as solicitors and accountants. We also hope to be able to announce further exciting expansion plans and projects in the coming months.”
