Eventa gets another hit at Cannes

LIVERPOOL events company Eventa Management has once again won the contract to manage the UK Film Council’s presence at the Cannes International Film Festival.
It is the sixth time Eventa has managed events at the festival for the Film Council, which runs for 11 days from May 13.
The Council’s UK Film Centre is the second largest pavilion at the festival at 3,000 sq ft. Eventa will manage over 70 events there, including ministerial visits, seminars, breakfast meetings, screenings and receptions.
Vici Ladeji, Eventa managing director, said: “We are always amazed at how surprised people are to see a Liverpool company organising such a huge international event in Cannes. We are very proud of the fact that we are from Liverpool, the creative talent in the city is amazing and we are happy to be part of it.
“Since we started managing the UK Film Centre we have increased the attendance figures so that it now attracts over 14,000 delegates from 83 countries during the 11 days of the festival and is the second busiest pavilion in the international village.
“To consistently deliver this event year on year in such a competitive market demonstrates that businesses from the North West are more than capable of competing in the international business arena despite the current climate.”
