Hotel chain Mint looks at sale options

MINT Hotel group, which carried out a major re-branding late last year, is considering a sale.

The group, which runs a successful hotel of the same name in Manchester, changed its name from City Inn.

It has reportedly appointed advisers in order to help it find a “new partner” as part of a plan to grow across Europe.

Mint’s ownership falls between its founders the Orr family and Donald Macdonald, and investment vehicle Uberior Ventures.

Mint has hotels in Leeds, Bristol, Glasgow, Birmingham and two in London. It is launching an hotel in Amsterdam in the next few months.
