Appointments: Hurstwood strengthens team; Begbies Traynor adds to ranks

NORTH West-based property group Hurstwood has appointed Joanne Watkinson as sales and marketing coordinator.

Ms Watkinson,26, joins Hurstwood having previously held roles at estate agency, Your Move and Winchester Garden Machinery.

In her new role, she will be responsible for maintaining and developing Hurstwood’s property portfolio.

Stephen Ashworth, Hurstwood chief executive, said:”In making this appointment, we were keen to invest in someone who we felt could grow and develop with the company, Joanne seemed to embody those qualities.

Business rescue, recovery and restructuring specialist Begbies Traynor has appointed Paul Barber as Insolvency Director.

He joins the firm’s Manchester office from Dawson White. He spent 11 years with Baker Tilly where he was a senior manager and has 18 years’ insolvency experience including two secondment episodes with motor retail lenders such as Ford Credit.
