TEG signs £1.6m deal with compost firm
ORGANIC fertiliser group TEG has won a £1.6m contract with a Derbyshire firm.
Preston-based TEG is to supply and install a silo cage plant with a capacity for 19,000 tonnes per annum at Taywell Composting.
The site has full planning permissions in place and the plant is expected to be completed by the end of 2009.
TEG, chief executive Mick Fishwick said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract by Taywell. It follows an extensive review of technologies by Taywell and is a further strong endorsement of the TEG silo cage technology.
“It is also very pleasing to have received an order from the private sector, which compliments well our recent gains in the public sector.”
