ServicePower extends deal with insurance specialist

SERVICEPOWER Technologies, the Stockport-based provider of field management software, has agreed a “significant” licence and revenue share agreement with Assurant Solutions – a specialist provider of warranty cover to retailers.

Assurant Solutions has been using the company’s ServiceOperations Software as a Service model for five years, and the new agreement will see it using ServicePower’s software to manage claims and despatch of goods.

ServicePower will receive licence revenue, software development and maintenance fees through the term of the contract. Assurant Solutions will also provide access to the ServiceOperations software to its commercial customer base, which includes major retailers and manufacturers.
