Canter Levin & Berg launches cut price legal advice

MERSEYSIDE law firm Canter Levin & Berg is ditching hourly fees and offering companies low-cost legal advice from £99 a month.

The firm says its “back to basics” service will “shake-up” the legal profession by providing a fixed-price, one-stop shop for legal advice on employment issues, health and safety, commercial disputes, payroll matters and debt.

Will Burrows, head of employment Law for Canter Levin & Berg, said: “We wanted to scrap the fear factor for businesses cautious of approaching qualified lawyers for advice. Rather than clock-watching as hourly fees rise, businesses need to feel they can speak often to a lawyer about legal issues affecting their businesses.

“We wanted to get back to basics and provide businesses with a simple, transparent solution they could trust – in quality advice and simple pricing.”
