Building briefs: Phase two completed at Heron Business Park; MAG at Fairburn

WIDNES Regeneration, the joint venture between St. Modwen and Halton Borough Council, has completed construction work on phase two of Heron Business Park.
Phase two comprises of 19 units, delivering a total of 73,700 sq ft of industrial accommodation. The units range in size from 1,590 sq ft to 9,492 sq ft.
The two phases of the business park comprise of 125,000 sq ft of industrial space and are a key element of Halton Council’s Widnes Waterfront regeneration project.
Cllr Tony McDermott, leader of Halton Borough Council, said: “I am delighted to see the second phase of the business park get underway – it is another step forward for the Widnes Waterfront project. With such high quality space available and the park’s excellent location, I’m sure it will continue to be an attraction for businesses.”

MANCHESTER-based international charity, Mines Advisory Group (MAG), has taken a 1,300 sq ft suite at the Fairbairn Buildings on Sackville Street.
MAG has acquired a suite on the lower ground floor of the period building to accommodate the group’s expansion.
The company join Reid Architects, Golley Slater, Corus and Studio Liddell who are also located at the Fairburn buildings.
