IoD announces Director of the Year finalists
THE finalists for this years North West Director of the Year Awards have today been announced.
The Institute of Directors’ annual awards are designed to highlight the successes of those who have defied the odds in tough market conditions.
More than 170 entries were received from directors across the North West region who then went through an interview process, led by Armstrong Craven.
Darrell Matthews, North West regional director for the IoD, said: “We have selected a number of very high calibre finalists from the entries and look forward to celebrating the talent that continues to exist in the North West at our dinner in October.”
The winners will be announced on October 7 at the Hilton Hotel Deansgate, with the awards ceremony being hosted by BBC North West’s Ranvir Singh.
Winners at last year’s event included Steve Corcoran of Speedy Hire, Peter Barton of Forge Europa, Imran Hakim of iTeddy, and Jeremy Gorick of Liquid Plastics.
