THE Manchester office of European investment bank Altium has advised on two acquisitions by the support services group Connaught.

THE Manchester office of European investment bank Altium has advised on two acquisitions by the support services group Connaught.

The quoted company has spent £12m on Norwich-based fire safety firm UK Fire and £3.9m on pest control business Igrox, based in Ipswich.

The Manchester office of Altium has advised Exeter-based Connaught since 2003. The deal team was led by Phil Adams and Mike Fletcher, with Adrian Reed and Nakul Mohandas.

Mike Fletcher, managing director at Altium in Manchester, said: “Connaught’s acquisitions show the market that good deals can be done, and also that there is appetite from investors to back the growth of strong and successful companies.”
