Airangel expands into London

AIRANGEL, the Warrington-based WiFi company, is to open an office in London on the back of a 30% increase in trade from the south.

The company, which provides the guest internet portals used by hotels and conference centres, has also appointed a new business development manager to work from its London premises on Russell Square.

Kevin Palmer, who has ten years’ experience in the hotel sector, will work with Airangel’s clients in the global hospitality sector. Existing London-based clients including Baker Tilly, Grange Hotels and Malmaison.

Dean Wilkinson, sales director at Airangel, said the London presence will help the company work more closely with clients on the revenue generating and marketing benefits of WiFi technology.

“The new London office will help us develop this directly with our clients and it will really allow us to extend our reach across the south, he said.

Mr Wilkinson added: “Over the last 12 months we have seen a 30% increase in demand across the southern regions from both the hospitality and corporate sectors and felt that levels of work necessitated a presence in London.”
