Rippleffect plots expansion with £2m investment

LIVERPOOL web designer Rippleffect plans to invest £2m and take on 30 more staff over the next two years.

The firm, set up by Derek Hatton’s son Ben and acquired by newspaper group Trinity Mirror in 2008, also plans to open a new office at Exchange Quays, Salford.

Mr Hatton said: “Rippleffect has undergone a major transformation over the past few years, and we’re looking to build on its success by investing further in our services and team.

“Over the next two years, our ambitions are to continue with a growth strategy, expand geographically, increase staff numbers to more than 85 and further establish Rippleffect as one of the best agencies in the UK for delivering digital campaigns.”

Rippleffect has expanded its services to include digital marketing agency, search, social media and consultancy.
