HEROtsc to add 120 staff at Warrington

HEROtsc, the Indian-owned firm which took over the Vodafone site in Warrington last year, will add 120 staff after securing a contract with the energy firm E.ON.
The company said the contract will take staff numbers to 900 and it expects this figure to rise to 1,000 in the long term.
The site will handle general customer service queries for E.ON.
HEROtsc’s chief executive David Turner said: “Our strategy of developing complex customer contact solutions rather than simply answering calls on their behalf is starting to pay dividends.
“We wanted to prove to our existing customers – and potential new ones – that we could bring added value to their business by a variety of ways – only one of which is the traditional contact centre role.”
HEROtsc is part of the Indian conglomerate, Hero Group. It has eight sites around the UK with its head office in Falkirk, Scotland.
