Seddon Homes shows off

CHESHIRE-based house builder Seddon Homes has said it is bucking the market trend as it commissions six new show homes in the North West.

Seddon, which has invested a “significant” six-figure sum in interior design and furnishings at show properties in Greater Manchester and Cheshire, said the decision to keep investing reflects its experience in continuing to achieve sales, despite the downturn.

The developments with new show homes are Travis Gate, Chorlton Green, Oakmont, off Woburn Drive, Mossley, Congleton and Appledale in Tytherington, Macclesfield as well as The Green, Congleton.

Denis Maddock, sales and marketing director for Seddon Homes, said: “Despite the challenging market conditions, we’ve stuck to our long-standing philosophy that well-built properties, finished to a high standard in a good location, will always attract positive buyer interest”.

The developer is part of Holmes Chapel-based Seddon Group, which had a turnover of more than £250m in 2008 and is run by the third and fourth generations of the Seddon family.
