Appointments: Squire Sanders Hammonds boosts banking team; Blueleaf grows & more

LAW firm Squire Sanders Hammonds has expanded its Manchester banking team with the arrival of a new partner from the firm’s Leeds office.

Matthew Ingram is one of 18 lawyers to be admitted to the firm’s partnership in the first set of promotions completed since Hammonds and US firm Squire Sanders & Dempsey merged on 1 January 2011.

Mr Ingram’s relocation to Manchester is in response to the increased workload undertaken by the Manchester banking team over the past year. The team act for clients such as Stobart Group, Ainscough Crane Hire and WFEL.

Claire Shepherd, who leads the banking team in Manchester, said: “Matthew is an extremely skilled lawyer who will be able to add to the expertise we are able to offer our clients in the North West.”

CHESHIRE digital agency Blueleaf  has appointmented Jenny Lomax as project director and Hayden Kibble to its web development team.

Jenny has more than 15 years’ experience in digital media, combining client-relationship and project management. She has spent time freelancing in the UK, Australia and China, working with agencies such as TBWA and Fuse8.

Hayden has previously worked for Rippleffect Studio and EMS Internet.

ACCIDENT management company, Easi-Drive, has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of two new business development managers.

Steve Hodgkinson, 37, from Stalybridge will look after the North West and Nina Middleton from Poole, Dorset, the South.

Zac Mitcheson, head of sales at Wythenshawe-based Easi-Drive said: “We are increasing the size of our team so that we can develop our existing referrer base, with the North West and South being key areas for growth.

“Both Steve and Nina have impressive track records in sales and considerable expertise within the industry. They are valuable additions to Easi-Drive as we continue to expand the business across the UK.”
