Armstrong Watson grows South Lakes presence
NORTHERN accountancy firm Armstrong Watson has acquired the Kendal office of rival Tenon for an undisclosed sum.
Former Tenon staff will be moving into the existing Armstrong Watson offices, taking the total number of staff from 13 to 19. The practice will continue to be headed by partners Richard Rankin and David Threlkeld.
Mr Rankin said: “Tenon is an incredibly well respected firm both locally and nationally and the combination of our skills will strengthen Armstrong Watson’s position in the South Lakes.
He added: “The amalgamation of the two offices will see a greater potential to deliver our services to both current and future clients. Our sector specialisms will benefit from the synergies of our combined professional team allowing us to provide businesses across the region with sound financial advice. I believe this will make a real difference to the development of clients’ businesses and financial affairs”.
Armstrong Watson has 14 offices throughout the north of England and south west Scotland.
