Parasol rebrands accountancy arm

PAYMENT outsourcing group Parasol has rebranded Quay Accounting, the accountancy firm it bought last year.

The group acquired Quay Accounting, which has offices in Manchester, Poole and Aberdeen and provides accounting services for freelancers, for an undisclosed sum in December.

It has now completed the company’s rebranding to ClearSky Accounting, which was developed by Manchester-based design company Studio North.

The company said the new name had been chosen to highlight its transparent approach to accounting, such as using a flexible pricing structure so contractors only pay for the services they need.

Duncan Strike, ClearSky managing director, said: “The process has been about communicating how and why ClearSky demystifies and simplifies tax and accounting issues and helps contractors achieve their financial aspirations.”
