Lettings latest: Nine move into Ducie House; Lowry Outlet Mall signs new pair; and more

DEVELOPER Urban Splash has completed 11 new lettings totalling around 8,000 sq ft of space in its Manchester commercial portfolio – most of which have been short-term deals for space at its Ducie House building.

Nine of the 11 new tenants have moved into Ducie House, including fashion designers Nadinoo, MCA Anglais, software developer Prototype Theatre and local listings magazine Chimp.

A further 1,674 sq ft of space has been let at Waulk Mill, a mill conversion next to the New Islington regeneration scheme. Photography firm Magma Images has taken a unit of just over 1,000 sq ft and digital creative agency Ubiquitous has taken a 586 sq ft unit.

Paul Jones of Urban Splash said: “These buildings are testament to the efforts of Urban Splash in creating diverse workspaces which are attainable to a range of businesses.

“Ducie’s cemented itself as Manchester’s creative hub for more than a decade now and these latest deals again show the diversity and innovation of the companies that base themselves there.”

He added that suites ranging from 100 sq ft to 1,700 sq ft remained available at Ducie House.
