Byotrol set to beat expectations

BYOTROL, the Manchester company which makes disinfectant liquid that kills MRSA and other bacteria, has reported a surge in sales.

In a trading update the company said it had experienced a “significant increase” in orders and its full-year figures would be ahead of market expectations.

Product sales, excluding licence fees, are anticipated to be more than £1m in the six months to September 30, compared with £184,922 last time. The figures will be released in mid-November.

In August the company said concerns over swine flu had led to an increase in orders, particularly for its range of hand and hard surface sanitisation products.
