In Brief: New airport eatery; Kuits act for charity

FOOD and beverage provider HMSHost has opened its third outlet at Manchester Airport.

The company, which is part of AutoGrill, a provider of catering services to more 100 airports across the world, has opened an 80-seater Italian restaurant at Terminal 3.

As well as the new Trattoria Milano, HMSHost operates Bar08 and Wrapid at Manchester.

Andrew Harrison, managing director of  Manchester Airport, said: “Passengers travelling through Terminal 3 tell us that they want a broad range of catering and retail which is why we are investing to improve the departure lounge. The opening of Trattoria Milano is an important milestone in that process..”

MANCHESTER law firm Kuits Solicitors advised Henshaws Society for Blind People on a 10-year lease on a new resource centre in Liverpool.

The new resource centre opened by Lord Storey, provides specially adapted training facilities and IT suites with the latest technology and offers vocational courses along with support and mobility training.

Ray Smith, commercial property solicitor at Kuits said: “The new resource centre is fantastic.  We are delighted to have assisted Henshaws with the lease which allows the Society to continue its wonderful service to people who need it.”
