Appointments: SHCL adds two partners; Pannone lawyer on radio board; Ark gets graduate architect
SALE-based law firm Slater Heelis Collier Littler has appointed two partners in its corporate and employment departments.
Geff Blower, a senior corporate lawyer, joins SHCL from Eversheds, where he had been a partner in the corporate department. Mr Blower has more than 30 years’ experience in advising upon, negotiating and project-managing a range of corporate and commercial transactions for PLCs and multinational corporations.
Meanwhile, employment law expert Tracey Guest will head up SHCL’s employment department. She joins from Turner Parkinson and handles contentious and non-contentious employment work for both commercial and private clients.

AMY Chandler, an intellectual property solicitor and specialist in media law at Manchester law firm Pannone, has been appointed to the board of not-for-profit community radio station Salford City Radio.
The Salford City Radio board has appointed Ms Chandler to provide legal and professional advice in connection with intellectual property and media related issues.
Jim King, chair of the Salford City Radio board, said: ”I’m delighted to welcome Amy and our three other board members, marketing manager Danielle Moss; education and operations manager Rachel Shearn and chartered accountant John Murphy.
“They all bring high value skills in their own fields of expertise which significantly strengthens our board.”

MANCHESTER-based architectural practice, ARK Design & Architecture has expanded its team with the appointment of graduate Carl Thomas.
Mr Thomas joins the practice as architectural assistant, having graduated in the summer from the University of Liverpool’s Master of Architecture course and with a first class honours.
