Couple launch children’s centre

HUSBAND and wife team Shahed and Asma Deen have launched a new indoor children’s play facility in Swinton.

The Funhouse, the couple’s first venture, has created 15 jobs and has been backed with an undisclosed amount of finance from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Mrs Deen said: “The Funhouse aims to create a friendly, fun filled environment where children can play and exercise safely. 

“The facility has been designed to provide mental and physical stimulation for children through uninhibited play. We chose Swinton for the location because the area lacked a facility of this kind that can bring children and parents together.”

Mrs Deen has more than 10 years’ experience of working with children, having previously worked in a school as a high level teaching assistant.
