The business is run by a four-strong management team: Steven and Andrea Greenhalf; executive chef, Michael Weston-Cole; and company secretary, Jennie Oakes.

Mr Greenhalf said: “Bowland Village Inns is a family run business with a focused management team and a very talented chef who completed his training under Jean Christophe Novelli, which gives us with the tools for growth and success.

“We are considering further acquisitions in 2010 but our next project will be The Talbot in Chipping, which is situated in the heart of the Ribble Valley. We’ll be looking to change its layout and function – helping us to capture the lucrative wedding market giving us a solid platform for further growth.”
