MMU Business School launches Commercial Academy

MANCHESTER Metropolitan University Business School has launched a new training academy aimed at commercial clients.
The Commercial Academy will offer courses in management, finance, marketing and business skills.
Training will delivered by experts from both the university and the professional sector, with courses designed in collaboration with employers.
The business school, which already has a track record of commercial training having designed programmes with Tesco, the Co-operative Group and Bank of New York Mellon, said training could be provided on campus, on-site, at a third venue or through e-learning.
Dr David Edmundson-Bird, MMU’s director of executive programmes, said: “As well as having access to some of the best academics in the UK, we have an experienced team of commercial training providers, ensuring that our clients will be receiving training from the best from the worlds of academia and business.
“There is a growing demand for commercial training which is underpinned by the quality assurance that affiliation with an academic institution gives; we believe the Commercial Academy will provide this.”
The Commercial Academy has a dedicated website at www.comacad.com.
