Iconic Cunard Building set to be venue for luxury weddings

Cunard Building

Liverpool-based hotel developer Signature Living has revealed how it will make the Cunard Building “the most special and stunning luxury weddings in the city” if it acquires the iconic building in the coming weeks.

Signature Living’s portfolio is expected to see the addition of one of the Three Graces.
Its plans also include a potential Michelin-starred restaurant, whilst ultimately, preserving the rich history of the building.

The company already hosts thousands of couples’ special days at 30 James Street, the Shankly Hotel and have bookings for Cardiff Bay’s Exchange Hotel which opens at the end of April, and the company says acquiring the Cunard as Liverpool’s most luxurious weddings space makes perfect sense.

The events space will host up to 1,000 people and will be complete with the building’s naturally beautiful high ceilings and huge windows allowing an abundance of natural light.

Lawrence Kenwright, founder and chairman of Signature Living, said: “Acquiring the Cunard Building is the ideal next step for Signature and the wedding and events aspect of the company.

“There would be no better or more luxurious weddings venue in Liverpool; with truly breath-taking views and the illustrious history of the building, I’m certain anyone would love to get married there. We are excited to be moving forward with these plans and hope to complete the deal imminently.”
