Peter Jackson

Seddon Construction’s chief operating officer Peter Jackson is stepping up to the role of managing director.

Jackson, who has been with the £200m turnover business for 17 years, originally joined what was then G&J Seddon in 1994 as a quantity surveyor, re-joining the business as operations director in 2005, before moving up to chief operating officer in 2014.

His new responsibilities will now allow current MD Jonathan Seddon to become chairman of Seddon Construction and CEO of the Seddon Group.

Seddon said: “Over the last three years as chief operating officer, Peter has been instrumental in guiding Seddon through many changes and challenges, establishing our regional teams and outlining a powerful vision for the business.

“I am therefore delighted to announce Peter’s appointment to managing director. It is vital that we have the very best people leading our organisation at every level, and as a key part of the Seddon strategy, I’m certain Peter will help us achieve every ambition we have as a business.”

The agency team at Roger Hannah & Co

Chartered surveyor and property management firm Roger Hannah & Co has unveiled a new-look agency team, including the recruitment of three surveyors.

The firm has recruited Julien Kenny-Levick as head of the department to work alongside Dan Rodgers and Robert Gann.

Kenny-Levick joins from his previous role as head of industrial and logistics at Colliers Manchester, to work alongside Rodgers another recent recruit from Hallams in South Manchester.

Director Stuart Cooper said: “These new recruits show a real commitment and investment by Roger Hannah & Co. to drive the progression of the agency department and a willingness to serve regional and national clients in the North West. Particularly Julien’s recruitment is seen as a real coup and will give the department a renewed focus which will see a step change in the stock and clients we will be dealing with.

“Julien’s knowledge and experience, ably supported by Dan Rodgers and Robert Gann, will enable us to service both our existing clients and target new opportunities. We very much see Julien as the key to unlock different doors both literally and metaphorically.”

Jamie Adam

The Savills residential development sales team in Manchester has been boosted by the appointment of two recruits.

Danielle Ford joins the team as a sales negotiator while Keira Doran has taken on the role of team administration assistant. Ford, who has three years experience in Manchester based residential and commercial property sales, joins Savills from Lambert Smith Hampton. Doran also has three years experience in the property industry, where she has worked in business development and administration roles.

The two appointments follow on from the arrival of Jamie Adam who joined Savills in September 2016 to head up the residential development sales team in the North of England from his Manchester base. His remit is to develop the residential development sales offering, with a particular focus on the North West and Yorkshire.

Adam said: “We have seen tremendous growth in a very strong market, which has led to the requirement to create two new roles in the Manchester based residential development sales team sooner than anticipated. Danielle and Keira bring with them excellent experience of the local property market, as well as incredible enthusiasm and encouraging talent.”
