Appointments: Robinson scores with PNE; COO for AMS & more

FOOTBALL club Preston North End has appointed property professional David Robinson as non-executive director.

Mr Robinson, 49,  is a chartered surveyor and is the managing partner of the Frank Whittle Partnership.

A lifelong fan of the football club, he has been heavily connected with Preston North End for the last 15 years, particularly since the conception of plans to develop the Deepdale stadium, which the Frank Whittle Partnership has helped to progress.

Derek Shaw, chairman of AIM-listed Preston North End said: “I have worked very closely with David for a number of years and he is an extremely professional and committed person who is also a very big Preston North End fan.

“His company, Frank Whittle Partnership, has long been associated with the club through the development of the stadium and the training ground and he therefore has a full working understanding of our operations. We feel he will be an excellent addition to the board.”

ADVANCED Medical Solutions, the Cheshire-based wound care specialist, has appointed current commercial director Chris Meredith as chief operating officer.
The Winsford company said the change “better reflects the breadth of his existing role.”
