Software firm and recruiter moves in to Grade II-listed city centre block

Commercial Estates Group has announced two new lettings at 196 Deansgate in Manchester city centre, achieving a new headline rent of £22.50 per sq ft for the Grade II-listed building.

Software developers, Arrk Group and IT recruitment business, Gibbs s3 have both relocated to the newly refurbished building on five year leases.

They join existing occupiers McCann Manchester, Proteintech Europe, Adimus Investment, Pharmacist Support and Citypress.

Arrk Group, which designs and builds digital solutions for startups, corporates and public organisations, has moved from Manchester Science Park to take 4,264sq ft on the second floor.

Relocating from Centurion House, Gibbs s3, an international IT recruitment service provider with several offices in the UK and Ireland, has taken 2,131 sq ft on the third floor.

Situated at the junction of Deansgate and Quay Street, 196 Deansgate provides approximately 48,000sq ft high quality office space over five upper floors with 17,784sq ft retail space on the ground floor. The deals follow on from CEG’s £2.3m refurbishment of 196 Deansgate, which completed in Autumn last year.
