£6m block near new rail interchange complete

Bolton Central development

Robertson North West has completed construction work on a new five-storey office block next to the new Bolton Interchange.

The new £6m building, which will be used as office space, is the latest building to be completed as part of the Bolton Central development.

Robertson North West – part of the £450m infrastructure group Robertson – started work on the project in November 2015, located at the junction of Great Moor Street and Newport Street.

Richard Buck, business development director for Robertson North West, said: “The Bolton Central development has been a fantastic project for us to be involved in and we have worked tirelessly to ensure it is finished to an exceptional standard.

“The modern office accommodation will help to build on the great developments that are taking place in Bolton. This building will also support the council in meeting the growing demand from businesses for high quality office space in the town centre.”

The office accommodation is the latest development in the town centre, following the £48m transport interchange, the revamp of Newport Street and the ongoing developments at the Market Place.
