Kids Pass plans to double membership in two years

Kids Pass, a national family savings company, has moved to a new 3,200 sq ft location in Knutsford, Cheshire as it prepares for a year of rapid growth.

The business plans to double its 1.1 million membership base over the next two years.

Having launched in Bowdon in 2014, the discount pass company now employs 23 staff and offers family-friendly discounts on more than 5,000 theme parks, cinemas and restaurants.

For Andrew Kilmartin, Kids Pass chief executive, the move is an important boost to company culture.

He said: “It was important to us to find a space where we can incorporate a fun element. So, the new offices have a games area, pool table, and chill out zone.

“We are also fitting a great canteen area with an outdoor feel and a coffee bar. We’re in the businesses of family fun. So our new office space gives us a perfect opportunity to practice what we preach.”

The business’s executive chairman Dave Clayton added: “It’s incredible to think how far we’ve come in only three years. We started out with a simple mission to save families money on their leisure spending.

“Since then we’ve enjoyed an amazing journey. We’ve partnered with many of the UK’s top attractions; cinema chains; and, restaurant groups.

“We’re already the UK’s number one family pass. And really – it’s only the start of what we can achieve together with our partners and our members.”

Recently, Kids Pass linked with Drayton Manor in a Mother’s Day bulletin board message challenge. More than 1,138 Kids Pass members placed messages on a single bulletin board and managed to break the Guinness World Record.
