Care home changes hands in six-figure funding deal
A care home in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester has been acquired following a six-figure funding deal with Allied Irish Bank (GB).
Staley House Care Home has been sold by Domain Care Limited to new owners Shafayat Hussain, Aurangzeb Akbar and Muddasser Hussain. The trio also own Mayfield Care Home in Sale.
Located on Huddersfield Road in Stalybridge, Staley House Care Home provides residential, respite and dementia care services for up to 27 elderly residents. The home employs 25 members of staff.
Senior relationship manager Simon King, with the assistance of relationship manager Lisa Murray from Allied Irish Bank (GB), developed the funding deal to support the acquisition of the nursing home.
Solicitors Sarah Walton and Frances Proctor from the corporate and real rstate divisions of Weightmans solicitors also acted on the deal.
