Haulier’s spanking new hub completed on time
A development at Burnley Bridge for road haulage specialist Fagan & Walley has completed on time.
Commercial property investor and developer Eshton appointed GMI Construction to deliver the building over a 36-week period.
Funded by Yorkshire Bank it has now been handed over to Fagan & Walley.
The new 92,000 sq ft accommodation stands on a 10-acre site and provides parking for up to 80 trailers, with 10 loading bays and 25,000 pallet locations. The development will serve as a major distribution hub for the family-run firm, dramatically increasing its warehousing capacity.
At 19 metres high, the building is the second largest on Eshton’s Burnley Bridge site to date.

“The new distribution hub is located at the heart of our long-standing customer base and just one junction down from our existing operations facility and company headquarters. We’re ready to move in and begin our operations from Burnley Bridge.”

Located at junction 9 of the M65, Burnley Bridge provides modern industrial and warehousing accommodation. Over 750,000 sq ft has been delivered to date, housing a range of businesses including YESSS Electrical, Birchall Foodservice, Equinox Building Solutions, Townsend Music and Exertis.
