Thumbs up for luxury homes development in Cheshire

An exclusive residential development near the village of Tattenhall in Cheshire has been granted planning permission.
Acting on behalf of housebuilder Duchy Homes, HOW Planning tabled a full application for a development of 10 homes which is has been given the go-ahead by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
The proposed accommodation will be built on a 1.3-acre site. The layout of the scheme has been specifically designed to reflect the appearance of existing homes in the area.
Its landscape-led design incorporates large gardens and open space, maintaining a rural village feel to the site.
Rachel Jones, planner at HOW Planning said: “Duchy Homes had a vision to create an extremely high quality development, which will attract new residents to the area.
“We were very careful to ensure the plans were sympathetic to the local surroundings and proposed a small scale scheme appropriate to the site, location and setting of the area.”
David Coppack from Duchy Homes added: “This is a great result and we are looking forward to making a start on the new development. We are committed to providing high quality accommodation which we are confident will complement the existing surroundings and enhance the local community.”
The scheme involves the construction of 10 new dwellings, comprising seven five-bed detached and three three-bed ‘affordable’ terraced properties, on a site which is within easy walking distance of the village.
