A&B secures hometown win
A&B Insurance Brokers has acquired rival firm Corporate Insurance Brokers, which is based in its hometown of Stockport.
A&B’s director David Riley said that the deal, for an undisclosed sum, would strengthen its commercial client base.
“This acquisition is in line with our plans for growth and expansion,” said Riley.
“The two firms have a total focus and commitment to delivering risk protection solutions to the SME market in the North West. The synergy in terms of client profile, service delivery and geography will ensure a smooth integration as we welcome a new set of clients to the fold.”
Corporate Insurance Brokers’ Patrick Klabou will continue to work with A&B’s directors as a member of the firm’s team.
“I have known A&B for a number of years and I am delighted that my clients will continue to receive an excellent service, supported by the people here,” he said.
