Real estate advisor Colliers International has relocated to larger offices in Liverpool to accommodate its expanding team which has been boosted by a series of major contract wins.

The six-strong team has moved from India Buildings to a 1,152 sq ft suite on the eighth floor of Walker House at the landmark Exchange Flags office building.

Headed by director Andy Delaney, the Colliers’ team outgrew its previous accommodation having secured work for clients in Liverpool and the wider city region.

Clients include brownfield regeneration specialist St Modwen with Colliers’ advising on the £150m Great Homer Street scheme to provide a new neighbourhood shopping centre and Knowsley Cross Retail Park, including a landmark pre-let to Morrisons, believed to be the first ‘big four’ supermarket deal to complete in England in recent years.

Colliers is advising Kier Property and CTP on the £200m redevelopment of Pall Mall Exchange to deliver up to 400,000 sq ft of Grade A+ office space in the city centre alongside a hotel and public realm and acting for Stoford on its 1 million sq ft Liverpool 57 scheme, the largest logistics site in the city.

It is also providing strategic development advice to Liverpool City Council on its 100-acre Festival Gardens site and continues to act as development advisor for the £150m Cains Brewery mixed-use redevelopment site.

Delaney said: “We opened our Liverpool office in India Buildings in January 2015 to establish a physical presence for Colliers in the three Northern Powerhouse capitals of Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool.

“We’ve expanded our team and outgrown that office following a substantial increase in our workload and look forward to strengthening our relationships with Liverpool’s most influential stakeholders from our new home at Exchange Flags, one of the most prestigious business addresses in the heart of the city.

“The decision to open in Liverpool has borne fruit and represents an integral part of our ongoing strategy to build our profile as a well-connected, specialist advisor to clients in key cities across the Northern Powerhouse region.”
