One of the UK’s fastest growing tech businesses has appointed the former chief financial officer of a private equity company as its UK chief executive.

Emma Rawlinson brings years of investment experience from her role at NorthEdge Capital to this new position at In Touch Networks.

The appointment is part of the company’s expansion into overseas markets.

In Touch Networks’ group chief executive Matthew Roberts said: “I’m thrilled that Emma has joined us as UK chief executive.

“This is a great opportunity for us to bring on an individual with so much experience in growth. Emma will bring a huge amount of expertise and know-how to our UK branches of the company.”

Manchester-based In Touch Networks operates a group of professional networks for senior executives and freelance professionals. Its services are primarily focused on recruitment, connecting its members with off-market jobs and providing training through events and e-learning.

With a background in private equity and operational turnaround in high-growth tech companies, Rawlinson is no stranger to fast-paced environments.

With a year-on-year growth rate of 1400% and accolades from the likes of Deloitte, In Touch is certainly not slowing down.

“I’m really excited to be joining such a high-growth company, especially one with enormous prospects for escalation and advancement,” said Rawlinson. “Being part of In Touch Networks at this time of expansion is a fantastic position to be in.”

Rawlinson will play a pivotal role in strengthening ties with private equity firms and securing partnerships with companies across the country, as well as building on current relationships to benefit In Touch Networks’ members.
