IT recruitment firm gears up for San Francisco launch
IT sales recruitment company Finlay James, headquartered in Didsbury, Manchester, is launching an office in San Francisco.
Finlay James has brought forward the opening of its US office by two months to further serve growing technology companies either based in or with satellite offices in the US.
Finlay James will be based in the WeWork offices at 650 California Street which it said is ideally placed to support the city and Silicon Valley areas.
The new operation is the fifth office opening for the business, which also recently launched in London.
VP of US operations Nick Guy will head up the US venture.
He said: “After being with Finlay James for four years, I am incredibly excited to be part of the first overseas office and to expand our presence in the US. It’s a great opportunity for us as we see the US market being a huge part of our future growth plans.”
John Gaughan, CEO, said: “The quality of the talent pool in San Francisco with some amazing universities in the Bay Area, combined with new direct flights from Manchester made opening our first US office in San Francisco the logical choice.”
Finlay James plans to continue to expand both nationally and internationally to 80 people by September 2018, with a headcount of 10 in San Francisco.
