Automotive performance puts recruiter on course for £11m revenue

Manchester-headquartered based recruitment business Start People Ltd is closing in on an outstanding third year of business revenue projected to reach £11m.

Since launching in 2015, the firm has specialised in three diverse and progressive sectors – automotive, engineering and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), all of which have pushed the business forward in terms of growth and revenue.

The company, which also has a site in Durham and has a total head count of 16, says 2017 is proving to be an exceptional year for the automotive division which will account for £6m of turnover alone.

Total revenue so far this year is already at £7m, compared to £3m at the same point last year.

“Whilst demand for automotive business grows so does the demand to grow the team and support its success,” a spokesperson said. “This is something the business has fulfilled this year with addition of five new team members.

“In conjunction with the firm’s automotive success Start People’s FMCG division introduced at the beginning of the year continues to drive sales and exceed targets.”
