£25m sale of furniture company completes

The £25m sale of Warrington-headquartered furniture company Sofology to giant rival DFS has been confirmed today (Friday, December 1).
This follows the approval of the acquisition by Doncaster-based DFS by the Competition and Markets Authority 11 days ago.
Sofology operates 40 stores in the UK. The business was founded in 1974 by Brian & Margaret Tyldesley, who set-up Clayton Sales Rooms, which became CSL and finally Sofology in 2016. Chief executive Jason Tyldesley has led the business since 1996.
GCA Altium advised on the transaction.
