It’s the people who make the difference, says threesixty selection

Mike Ashton and Diana Sproston

Specialist management and executive recruiter, threesixty selection, based in Sale, Greater Manchester, has expanded its offering into two new sectors with two key appointments.

Diana Sproston has joined the company’s newly-opened financial planning division and Mike Ashton has also joined the recently-launched technology practice.

Sproston has more than 10 years’ experience recruiting for independent financial adviser and wealth management practices as well as investment management and compliance firms.

Meanwhile, Ashton has previous experience recruiting professionals specialising in technology platforms supporting the wealth management and fintech sectors. He has more than 15 years’ recruitment experience.

According to threesixty selection managing partner John Clark, who runs the business alongside fellow managing partner Ian Moat, the difference between the business and its rivals is the people working for the company.

“These two recruits has taken us into new markets which complement our existing business,” said Clark.

“Our business is about the quality of people we employ, about offering a genuine consultancy service. The difference between threesixty selection and our competitors is our people.

“We are all about understanding the clients, the marketplace, having a straightforward approach, with integrity and knowledge – keeping it simple and professional.
“We’ve got a lot of long lasting relationships, and our staff turnover is minimal.”

The company provides recruitment services at professional, management and board level, with an Executive Search arm and operations covering Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales and now Technology and Financial Planning.

Clark continued: “We are heading in the right direction. We are excited about our growth and we are looking to recruit more people.

“We want to attract experienced people from within the recruitment sector to come and work for us. We have a mature experienced approach, which we think is a good thing and we like to attract similarly minded people.”
