Commercial property agent Williams Sillitoe has secured the “next move” for a North West gaming company after acquiring the lease for its new headquarters.

Steamforged Games will relocate from its current residence in Stockport to a 16,348sq ft building in Kestrel Road, Trafford Park.

The extended two-storey office space, which includes a warehouse, has undergone a full refurbishment and bespoke fit-out, costing in excess of £300,000.

One of region’s premier industrial locations, Trafford Park is approximately four miles west from Manchester’s bustling city centre and provides homes to over 1,400 companies, employing more than 44,000 people.

Major occupiers include Kellogg’s, Adidas, Proctor and Gamble and L’Oreal.

Jay Finnegan, from Steamforged Games, said: “The growth of the business since we launched three years ago has been remarkable which is why our property requirements have changed so drastically.

“The new office will be four times the size of our current building and will provide us with the perfect opportunity to create a unique space which works for us operationally and showcases our business in a prime industrial hot spot.”

Mark Sillitoe, of Williams Sillitoe, who advised Steamforged on the five-year lease, added: “Steamforged had very specific requirements which made our job quite tricky but the unit at Kestrel Road ticked so many boxes for them.

“The quality of the refurbishment and fit-out has been second-to-none and the new premises will help to take their business to the next level.”

Williams Sillitoe are the agents for Steamforged Games and Cushman & Wakefield have acted on behalf of landlord, Craigard.
