Cheshire-based flight consolidator Aviate recorded double digit sales growth in October, making it the company’s strongest month in history.

The Ellesmere Port company said October was its busiest month to date with ticket sales up 47% year on year.

Aviate’s managing director Michael Edwards puts the success down to the company’s high levels of customer service, its long-standing relationships and innovative processes.

He said: “It’s fantastic to see such strong results for October and a real testament to the efforts of the team.

“We’ve got lots of exciting developments planned for 2018 so I’m confident that our performance will continue to go from strength to strength.

Aviate has reported a constant upward trend in sales.

In 2014/15, the company worked with 10 airlines, generating £21.2m revenue.

In 2015/16 and 2016/17 revenue was at £38.7m and £60.7m respectively.

Now the company works with 50 main airlines and is on schedule to generate £94m revenue in 2017/18.
