Record year for travel group as turnover touches £15m

Christian Gleave, CEO at Review Travel Group

Travel management firm Review Travel Group has reported record annual turnover of £14.8m, a 15% increase on 2016.

Following the acquisition of hotel and conference booking specialist Executive Status in April 2016, the Cheshire-based company has pushed ahead in what it says has been a challenging year for the travel industry.

Review Travel Group also continues to grow its UK-wide client base across all sectors, from healthcare to legal.

The company recruited two staff in 2017, bringing its total number of employees to 29.

Christian Gleave, CEO at Review Travel Group, said: “Recent growth and commercial success is testament to the team’s hard work. Strong client relationships underpin everything we do, and investment in training, technology and new business development staff has allowed us to continue building and nurturing these.

“The acquisition of Executive Status in 2016 was the fuel we needed to offer the complete travel management package through an extended range of services, and we are looking forward to progressing an extended acquisition strategy in 2018.”
