Winning a Business Masters award puts your company’s achievements in the spotlight, says CEO

Jim Nicholson

A Business Masters award is a chance for companies to show off their contribution to the region’s economy, says the chief executive of property and construction specialist Pochin’s.

The North West firm took home the coveted award in the SME category at last year’s Business Masters.

Jim Nicholson, CEO of Pochin’s, said: “It was a great honour to be named SME of the Year at last year’s Business Masters Awards, especially as the calibre of those shortlisted was so impressive. The award was a reflection of a year that saw us celebrate more than 80 years in business in the North West, while continuing to bring to life buildings that will contribute greatly to our communities in the years to come.

“For businesses who are invested in the region, Business Masters is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work that is contributing significantly to our growing economy. For us, it also provided a welcome chance to recognise the many people in our business, from senior leadership through to those working onsite, whose hard work is the reason the business is where it is today.”

The deadline for entries for this year’s awards dinner closes on Friday.
