Recruiter Templine swallows rival

St Helens-based Templine Employment Agency has acquired North Wales firm Nation Recruit for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Prestatyn, North Wales, Nation Recruit was established in 1995 by managing director Lynne Fattah and specialises in the recruitment of temporary and permanent industrial staff.

Nation Recruit is joining Templine, a UK-wide provider of temporary staff to businesses across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, industrial and logistics. The deal allows Lynne Fattah to retire from Nation Recruit.

Fattah said: “Although Nation Recruit was a small company, MC Vanguard gave me the confidence that it was saleable and worked closely with me to prepare it for sale, allowing me to exit the business.

“Becoming part of Templine is great news for Nation Recruit’s clients and staff as it provides a significant opportunity for future growth.”

Nation Recruit was advised by Brian McCann, partner, and James Curtis, corporate finance executive, of MC Vanguard which has offices in Liverpool and Manchester.

Templine was advised by law firm DWF and Dains Accountants on financial and tax due diligence.
