First look at adventure aqua park

Visuals have been released for Liverpool’s new Adventure Dock Co aqua park – set to open at Albert Dock in the summer.

Opening to visitors in May, the attraction, created by the watersports specialists at Industry Wake, will feature a 92-metre obstacle course.

Specifically designed for Liverpool, the unique Adventure Dock course will boast more than 50 joined-up inflatable obstacles, free-fall slides (some reaching heights of almost 4 metres), rafts and barriers, while other features, such as the Moon Balls and Overpass, will be aimed at beginners – making it an attraction to suit all levels.

Tim Woodhead, creator of Adventure Dock, said: “We are planning to make a big splash this summer and the team have worked really hard to create a truly unique experience for visitors to Albert Dock.

“We have specifically designed the course to create an attraction that the whole family can enjoy and to get more people out and about on the water.”

Adventure Dock will operate from May 5 through to October. Located on Duke’s Dock, in between Albert Dock and King’s Dock (home to ACC Liverpool and the Wheel of Liverpool), the attraction will be the newest addition to the city’s iconic waterfront.
