Recruiter passes £7m turnover milestone
Bury-based specialist recruitment consultancy MERJE is celebrating a 36% increase in revenue to more than £7m in 2017.
The 12-month period was MERJE’s most successful year to date with staff numbers rising to 33 in its headquarters and nine in its recently-opened office in London and more recruitment in the pipeline.
Meanwhile, the company is currently planning to move its head office to an under-construction building in Whitefield, north Manchester.
It is an area that the company’s directors and founders, Jonathan and Richard Abelson and Edward Manson, to invest in the area they grew up in.
Abelson said: “We are immensely proud of the success that MERJE saw last year.
“Since the company started in 2011, our focus has been on providing a high-quality service and establishing long-lasting relationships with our clients and candidates, and these financial results are testament to this approach.
“We have an extremely exciting 2018 and the opening of our new head office this summer highlights our investment in our future as we continue to grow.”
